Healthy Cooking Classes

In our cooking classes, we teach students how to prepare delicious, affordable, and nutritious snacks and meals. Recipes include kale and sweet potato salad, sweet corn lettuce wraps, guacamole and fresh salsa. In these hands-on classes, we encourage students to chop ingredients*, incorporate their favorite spices, and alter the recipes based on their own discerning palates.

After every class, we give a recipe card to each student so that they can prepare these snacks with their families and friends. Our goal is simple: ignite a passion for healthy cooking and eating that will continue outside of the classroom.

*All of our cutting and cooking supplies are kid-friendly.
