Our boxing classes focus on necessary skills: positive discipline, self-control, and the ability to work with others. We teach basic boxing skills such as proper foot placement and punching techniques. Students do not spar against each other, but practice on pads held by our instructors. Students also partake in exercise drills to improve coordination, agility, and speed.
Our boxing classes promote non-violence. We emphasize character building, which leads to improved self-esteem, confidence, respect, and self-discipline. By developing these qualities, our students eliminate behaviors caused by frustration, stress, or anger.
